Service
I practice telehealth/online therapy individual sessions for people aged 18+ and couples therapy for adults (18+). At this time, I only hold a Washington state license, so I am only able to work with Washington state residents. Because of this, you must be physically present in Washington state for therapy sessions.
Insurance
I am considered an out of network provider for insurance companies. If you’d like to use your insurance to cover the cost of services, I am able to provide you with a Superbill for you to bring directly to your insurance for reimbursement. Please note, your insurance company requires an official mental health diagnosis in order to be diagnosed. We can discuss this in our session together.
It would be a good idea to check with your insurance provider on their policies regarding reimbursement.
Some questions that you could ask could include:
What are my benefit for seeing an out of network LMFTA
Have I met my deductible?
Do you reimburse for associate therapists?
How many therapy visits does my plan cover?
How long will it take me to get reimbursed?
Rate
The full rate for working together is $150/session
All sessions are paid for the day of the service. I accept all major credit/debit cards, FSA, and HSA.
I set aside a limited amount of spots in my practice for reduced priced therapy. Please let me know if this is something that you are interested in before we begin.
Starting the Therapy Process
Step 1: Schedule a free “one on one meeting”/introductory call
The first step before the first session. This is a chance for us to meet and connect. I’ll answer any questions that you have, inquire about what you’re looking for in a therapist, and what you hope to fulfill in your healing journey. Our phone call is also also a chance for us to see if we’d be a good fit in working together. There’s no obligation to continue to move forward with me if you do a consultation call. If we feel like another therapist would be a better fit for you, I can help you find another therapist by providing referrals to other therapists in the area.
Step 2: Complete Paperwork
If we believe that working together would be a good fit, we schedule your first session. When you let me know, I will send you paperwork through my portal. The paperwork includes forms that include policies, consent, and an intake/questionnaire (5-10 minutes average) that helps me get to know you better. I will also send you a link to your personal Zoom room.
Step 3: First Meeting/Assessment
An introductory time together that begins our work together. We’ll discuss what you’re experiencing that is bringing you to therapy, what is getting in the way of your dreams for yourself, assessing what you need, and reviewing practice policies. This is also another chance for us to determine if we’re a good fit to continue with ongoing sessions. This process may take more than one session.
